Youth Program
Welcome to the youth program at Temple Sinai! We have
two great youth groups: the Junior Youth Group for students in grades
5 – 8 and NUTSY, our Senior Youth
Group for students in grades 8 – 12. Check out our

The Junior Youth Group has approximately one activity
per month, and we do really fun things such as game nights at the
Temple, laser tag, and a shul-in. NUTSY stands for Newington United
Temple Sinai Youth and is part of a larger organization called NFTY-NE
(North American Federation of Temple Youth
– Northeast). You can see pictures

Although NUTSY is small, we are very active. We have
at least one meeting a month, do local activities such as group
dinners and apple picking, and participate in all of the regional
events that NFTY offers. Some of the recent regional events have
included: dances at temples in Boston, 4-5 day institutes at Eisner
Camp in Great Barrington, MA., weekend long conclavettes with over 200
other teens, and so much more!
"Lounge Time" is every Wednesday night in the Youth
Lounge from 6:00-7:30. Come hang out with friends, have some snacks,
and plan for future events.
